Slow motion player, AI full body map, trackers & tracers.
The YouTube demo shows
AI visualization of basketball, tracing the movement of the player's
head, finding the maximum jump height and tracing the basketball's trajectory.
Slow
Motion Player
VideFlow
is a slow motion player for studying sporting motions. Film yourself
and play it frame-by-frame to see the detailed movement. The software
is based on a video player with slow down, pause, and fast frame advance.
Analysis is useful for many sports activities, such as golf swings and
tennis /badminton swings, martial arts /taekwondo /jiu-jitsu, jumps
in basketball, dance, gymnastics, boxing, skateboarding, snowboarding,
football /soccer, fitness /gym and others.
AI
Visualisations
Add AI visualizations
to the video with AI computer vision data to see it more clearly. Body
mapping tracks your body through the movement. Turn on body frame lines
and draw traces of body points. You can also find limits of body points
in four directions, show body frame angles and find their maximum/minimum
limits.
There are
two custom trackers that can follow any object in the video, including
sports equipment. Draw traces of a ball or racquet, or show the height
of a skateboard wheel from the ground. Traces and direction limit visualizations
are available for the trackers, and are the key analysis tools provided
by the software.
Export
your Motions
Motions
can be exported to MP4 video for reference and sharing with friends.
These are watermarked in the free software but you may remove the watermark
with an in-app purchase for a small one-off charge. You may save your
projects at different stages in the software and revert back to the
data later on. The exported videos are useful for sports coaches /instructors
to send to their students giving feedback on their technique.
VideFlow
app runs entirely on your device . There is no need for an internet
connection and you can use it anywhere.
Free
with no Adverts
The main
app is available as a free download from the Play Store. You may try
it out and see if its useful by downloading the slow
motion video player without any charge. This is time unlimited with
no adverts and includes any future updates. There is one in-app purchase
available to remove the watermark from exported films. The free software
runs entirely on your device and we do not collect any personal data.

Technical
Notes
VideFlow is designed for short segments of film, typically from
five to thirty seconds.
Processing of moving images uses large amounts of memory, so it's
necessary to keep the movements short.
It checks available system resources on startup and if necessary
limits the maximum recording time, or reduces the program's internal
working resolution.
The body mapping artificial intelligence pipeline works best on
a fast, modern android device. We recommend a CPU speed above 1.4GHz.
The tracker works on slower devices, but may not keep up with
fast moving objects. For rapid movement you should film at a high
frame rate such as 60 frames-per-second or higher. This gives the
tracker more frames to work with.
We hope you enjoy using VideFlow.
